Two Teaching Fellowships in Race, Science,Gender at UCL - deadline imminent



The Department of History at UCL has two immediate vacancies for part-time, ten-month Teaching Fellows due to the sudden illness of a senior member of staff. The courses involved are

* Race and the Sciences: Modern Ideologies of Human Difference (ten two-hour sessions, taught first this term and repeated next; upper-level undergraduate)

and

* Gender in History: Feminist Movements in Comparative Perspective – 19th and 20th centuries (ten two-hour sessions, taught first this term and repeated next; upper-level undergraduate)
* Gender and Knowledge in History (twenty two-hour sessions over this term and next; MA)

I've attached the job descriptions. Note that we're shortlisting on MONDAY 16 SEPTEMBER and interviews are on THURSDAY 19 SEPTEMBER for a MONDAY 23 SEPTEMBER start. Yes, this month!
