Byrne-Bussey Marconi Fellowship, Bodleian Libraries



Awards a Fellowship for up to four months, to be taken at the Bodleian Libraries, for research in the history of science. Research proposals in the history and science of wireless communication or the wireless industry will be especially favoured.  Applicants intending to use the Marconi Archives at the Bodleian Library and the Marconi Collection at the Museum of the History of Science will be preferred. Fellows will be reimbursed expenses of up to £1,000 per month for up to four months, to cover travel and accommodation expenses incurred as a result of the research visit. Applicants must be at postdoctoral level or above at the time of application. The fellowship must be taken up during the period September 2014 to August 2015.
