El simposio propone presentar y discutir ponencias que aborden los amplios entrelazamientos transatlánticos (científicos, populares y materiales) sobre cuestiones alimentarias en los siglos XIX y XX. La circulación de plantas y animales, pero también de costumbres culinarias y conocimientos sobre alimentación ha definido el encuentro transatlántico desde los primeros días de la conquista. En los siglos XIX y XX distintas ciencias y prácticas nutricionales se han sumado a esta circulación entre América Latina y Europa.   Queremos reunir trabajos con distintos enfoques metodológicos y de distintas ramas de las ciencias históricas. En concreto, nos gustaría poner en diálogo la historia de la migración y las relaciones internacionales, con la historia de los conocimientos, la historia de la ciencia, la tecnología y la salud y la historia ambiental. Abstract submissions are being invited for the workshop "Physics at the Interface: Connecting the Philosophies of the Physical, Life, and Social Sciences," scheduled to take place at the University of Durham on September 7-8, 2023. The 21st century has seen the flourishing of interdisciplinary fields at the interface of physics and other disciplines, such as biophysics, econophysics and social physics. The gap between physics and chemistry has also become increasingly blurred. The transfer of concepts, models and methods from physics to other domains raises a host of pressing questions. How does the interpretation, justification and explanatory status of physics approaches change when they are applied to biological and social systems? Do methodological conflicts arise at the physics interface, and if so how might historians and philosophers of science address them? Introduction The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted all human businesses including the entertainment and media industries. In the global cinema and audiovisual media industry in particular, this impact has since the year 2020, been very much palpable at all levels: production, distribution and consumption.
