Monográfico panaceico (diciembre 2015) sobre Periodismo científico y biosanitario

La redacción de Panace@ anuncia que el número monográfico de la revista, que se publicará en diciembre de 2015, y que coordinarán Gonzalo Casino, Antonio Calvo Roy y Santiago Graiño, estará dedicado al “Periodismo científico y biosanitario”.  El objetivo de este monográfico es hacer una revisión de los enfoques, prácticas y maneras de ejercer esta especialidad. Tras una revisión histórica, parece claro que estamos en un momento crítico en el que están pasando muchas cosas a la vez y están cambiando de manera notable las prácticas habituales. Pretendemos conocer el estado del periodismo científico y biosanitario hoy, determinado por dos realidades nuevas: por una parte, la doble crisis —de negocio e informativa— de los medios de comunicación; por otra, el impacto de los nuevos canales y herramientas que las tecnologías de la información han puesto a disposición tanto de los usuarios individuales como de los medios. Sixth International Workshop on the History of Human Genetics Glasgow, UK (Scotland), June 5-6, 2015 Principal Themes: ‘Human Gene Mapping’ and ‘Oral History of Human Genetics’ Call for Abstracts/Papers: We would like to invite proposals for the Sixth International Workshop on the History of Human Genetics which will take place in Glasgow, UK (Scotland), 5-6 June 2015. The topics for this workshop are ‘Human Gene Mapping’ and the ‘Oral History of Human Genetics’. Proposals for presentations (250 words maximum) should be submitted via the ESHG webpage: https://www.eshg.org/636.0.html.  The deadline for proposals is January 9, 2015.
