Call for papers The 23rd ?Novembertagung on History of Mathematics? will take place at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal, November 07-09 2012. The Novembertagung is an annual international conference aimed at bringing together junior scientists working in the field. In its 23rd year of existence, it has grown into an important forum for PhD students and postdocs to present their projects and discuss innovative research approaches and methods, but also talk about general questions concerning the PhD process and the work in a scientific community. Congrés 'Sites of Chemistry in 19th Century' L'Institut d'Història de la Medicina i de la Ciència López Piñero (centre mixt del CSIC i la Universitat de València), amb seu en el Palau de Cerveró, presenta el congrés Sites of Chemistry in the 19th Century, que tindrà lloc els pròxims dies 6 i 7 de juliol en la sala de conferències de l'institut. La trobada ha sigut organitzat per José Ramón Bertomeu-Sánchez, Mar Cuenca, Antonio García-Belmar, Ximo Guillem i Ignacio Suay-Matallana, i és la segona de les quatre conferències anuals que conformaran el projecte Sites of Chemistry (1700-2000), finançat pel Wellcome Trust i la Society for the History of Alchemy and Chemistry.
