Lyman Briggs College—an undergraduate, residential, liberal arts, science program at Michigan State University—invites applications for a visiting instructor. Candidates must be committed to undergraduate teaching, and should hold a M.S. with a specialization in the history, philosophy, and/or sociology of science or technology, or a closely related field. Having a PhD is preferred. The successful candidate will teach a total of five courses: two or three sections of our first-year introduction to history, philosophy and sociology of science (HPS) course, and three or two upper-division HPS courses. Salary is commensurate with experience.
