PhD opportunities at STS, UCL
The Department of Science and Technology Studies (STS) at University College London welcomes PhD applications.
STS covers history of science and technology, philosophy of science, sociology of science and technology, and studies
of science policy and science communication.
This year we have an AHRC studentship in philosophy of science, an ESRC studentship that can cover sociology of science/social studies of science communication/social history of recent science, and are able to support strong students in UCL competitions for AHRC awards in history of science and ESRC awards in interdisciplinary studies of STS interest.
Students interested in starting this autumn should contact the STS Graduate Tutor (Jon Agar, jonathan.agar@ucl.ac.uk) as soon as possible.
