SPC Summer Symposium 2012 — Second Call for Papers

The International Society for the Philosophy of Chemistry (ISPC) — Summer Symposium 2012 will be held from Tuesday August 7 tillFriday August 10, 2012 in Leuven, Belgium, in the Universiteitshal (Lakenhalle) of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven). An optional excursion will be organized on Saturday August 11, 2012.
Abstracts for presentations and posters are currently being accepted for the ISPC Symposium. The abstract submission deadline has been extended to 20 May 2012.
Papers and posters are invited on the following topics:
1. Atoms in Molecules
2. Reflections on Symmetry in Chemistry
3. The Nature of the Chemical Bond
4. Structure in Chemistry
5. Ethical Aspects of Chemistry
6. Philosophizing Chemists
7. Doing Philosophy of Sustainable Chemistry
8. The Social Perception and Understanding of Chemistry
