eaching Fellows in the History of Medicine, History of Science and Medicine
Dear Colleagues,
The Department of History and the Centre for the History of
Medicine at the University of Warwick are now recruiting two full-time
teaching fellows, one in the history of medicine, and one in the History of
Science and Medicine. The full details for these 2015/16
posts are now live, with a closing date of 17th August
2015. Please do pass along the detail s to any olleagues and early career
researchers. We will welcome the successful applicants into a lively
and friendly Department and Centre, and a good track record of
supporting our Teaching Fellows as they develop applications for research
funding and permanent academic and public engagement roles.
Do by all means encourage potential candidates to contact me
with any questions. I should perhaps add that both 'Cradle to
Grave' a ern World' are well-established and smoothly functioning modules,
for which substantial teaching resources will be made available to the
successful candidates. 'Making History' and 'Being Human' are innovative
new modules, making very creative use of Warwick's strength in digital
resources, and its position at the hub of a network of local and regional
museums, archives and libraries.
Many thanks, and best wishes,
Roberta
