Position at the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology
The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology is Norway’s largest technical, scientific and medical museum. The museum had 250,000 visitors in 2013 and half of these were children and adolescents. The museum works with research and documentation, produces exhibits and educational programs. The Science Centre and The National Museum of Medicine are integrated parts of the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology.
Curator
The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology has a vacant permanent position as curator for the history of medicine.
The position involves:
* Development and production of exhibits and other forms of dissemination
* Research and documentation
* Working with the museum's collections
* Both internal and external specialist consulting and networking
We are looking for someone with minimum a master’s degree in a relevant field. Knowledge of the history of health and medicine, previous experience from museums and other relevant work experience will be emphasized. We are looking for someone with professional curiosity within the field that is interested in developing the museum's institutional role within society. There will be an emphasis on independence, ability to work with determination and teamwork skills.

The museum has flextime and a pension plan in the Public Service Pension Fund.
