CfP: Space, Place, and Patients 2nd Annual Virtual Conference for Graduate Students and Early Career Researchers

The American Association for the History of Nursing (AAHN) invites submissions for a virtual conference on space, place, and patients from senior undergraduate students, graduate students, and early career researchers (defined as up to 5 years post-PhD). Submissions that consider nurses or the role of the nursing profession in these issues are welcomed. However, presentations can consider any aspect of healthcare history within any geographic or temporal frame. You do not need to be an AAHN member to submit an abstract, but accepted presenters must be (or become) members to present at the conference. We offer a special membership discount for students: two students from the same institution can become members for $100 USD. The Centre for Ethics, Politics and Society (CEPS) invites submissions for PANEL 6: "SCIENTIFIC AUTHORITY AND DEMOCRATIC LEGITIMACY: PHILOSOPHICAL REFLECTIONS ON THE MORAL AND POLITICAL ROLE OF SCIENCE." at the 16th Braga Meetings on Ethics and Political Philosophy, hosted by the University of Minho in Braga (Portugal), on June 29–30 and July 1, 2026. CfP: The Recipes Project Spring 2026: Personal Recipe Collections

Today we have more recipes available to us than ever before, via websites, social media, print publications, and personal recommendations. This abundance can pose a challenge: how best to collect, organize, and store our recipes? Selecting and preserving recipes from a wide variety of sources, however, is not new. Individuals have used manuscript cookbooks, recipe boxes, scrapbooks, binders, oral traditions, and computers to do this, each method with their own unique set of advantages and disadvantages. Scholars of medieval and early modern recipes have parsed the differences between personal, institutional, and printed collections. But more modern personal collections have often garnered less notice, care, and attention, with scholars gravitating towards printed cookbooks and away from the index cards, scribbled notes, and newspaper clippings which so often constitute a modern personal collection. Invitación a publicar artículos sobre DIDÁCTICA EN HISTORIA DE LA SALUD en próximo número de Encuentros Multidisciplinares

Por si te pudiera interesar, ya está abierto el plazo de envío de artículos para el próximo número de la revista  Encuentros Multidisciplinares.  Es por ello que  te invitamos a considerar la posibilidad de que nos envíes/éis algún artículo relacionado  con la DIDÁCTICA EN HISTORIA DE LA SALUD, o con cualquier otra disciplina y ámbito del conocimiento   de los  que integran el gran  Universo científico .  En caso afirmativo, te indico que el plazo límite para el envío de artículos sería el próximo 31 de Marzo, y la extensión del artículo podría ser bastante variable (2.500 a 4.000 palabras podría ser una referencia, pero podrían ser más o menos en caso necesario), y se podrían incluir gráficos, tablas, fotos, etc.   Además, este próximo número de la revista va a seguir recogiendo artículos dedicados a las SOCIEDADES CIENTÍFICAS, así como a los CENTROS DE INVESTIGACIÓN punteros de nuestro país y que tanto hacen unos y otros por el av...
