I am pleased to announce the first Notes and Records Essay Award.
This new essay award is open to young researchers in the history of science who have completed a postgraduate degree within the last five years.
The unpublished essay, based on original research, should relate to aspects of the history of science, technology and medicine. Articles that relate, either directly or indirectly, to the Royal Society and its Fellowship are encouraged.
The award is to consist of:
i) A cash prize of £500
ii) Publication of the winning entry in Notes and Records
iii) A year’s subscription to Notes and Records
Deadline for submission of essay is 31 March 2010
