The School of Philosophy, Religion and History of
Science at the University of Leeds is
pleased to announce numerous funding opportunities in Philosophy and History & Philosophy of
Science (HPS) to suitably qualified candidates for its full-time (FT) or part-time
(PT) PhD and MA programmes.
PHD

Philosophy at the University of Leeds is one of the
largest philosophy departments in the UK, with members of staff active in all
the main areas of the subject. It has an internationally renowned research

"internationally excellent". Our five research centres in Metaphysics
and Mind, Ethics and Metaethics, History and Philosophy of Science, Aesthetics,
and Philosophy of Religion, offer unique opportunities to engage with some of
the very best scholars in their fields and receive world-class supervision.
We offer both taught and research study, from MA courses
in Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, and History and Philosophy of Science
through to specialised PhD supervision across a wide range of topics.
