4-yr postdoc in history of science publishing
The School of History at St Andrews is seeking to appoint a postdoctoral researcher within the AHRC-funded ‘Publishing the Philosophical Transactions’ Project. You would have responsibility for that part of the project dealing with the social, cultural and economic history of the journal in the later nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
The successful candidate is likely to have experience working within the field of history of science and/or the history of publishing, and to have prior experience of working with archival materials. There are no teaching duties attached to this post, although opportunities to obtain teaching experience may be available by agreement with the Project Director.
