Collections Manager

Salary                    :               £ 27K

The Powell-Cotton Museum is an Accredited museum in East Kent and is home to a renowned and diverse world class collection .  This is a full-time, professional post.  The successful applicant will have comprehensive curatorial responsibilities for the collections and the ADLIB computer database.

Responsibilities include full care of the collection, organising temporary exhibitions, loans and displays, involvement in commercial activities, public promotion and access, fundraising and other activities relating to the collection.  Experience in collections management is essential.

The successful applicant must have a relevant degree, as well as comprehensive IT skills.  Some evening and weekend work required.
