Call for Prize Nominations/ Forum for History of Science in America
Call for Prize Nominations:
The Forum for the History of Science in America seeks
nominations for its annual Philip Pauly Publication Prize. This year we’ll be awarding the prize,
limited to early-career scholars, for the best article on ‘American science’
published in the last three years.
What’s eligible?:
- any article published in the English language in a
professional journal issue (or chapter in a multi-authored edited volume) dated
2010, 2011, or 2012;
- authored by a graduate student or scholar who received
the Ph.D. in 2002 or afterward;
- on a topic in American (defined to encompass the entire
western
hemisphere) science.
Authors are encouraged to self-nominate.
Please submit pdfs of published articles and full
citations to Dan Bouk
(dbouk[at]colgate.edu) between now and 31 July 2013.
