CALL FOR PAPERS
The
Seventh International Conference on Food Studies will be held at Roma
Tre University, Rome, Italy, 26-27 October 2017, and hosted in
partnership with Gustolab International Institute for Food Studies and
Roma Tre University. We invite proposals for paper presentations,
workshops/interactive sessions, posters/exhibits, virtual lightning
talks, virtual posters, or colloquia addressing one of the following
themes:
Theme 1: Food Production and Sustainability
Theme 2: Food, Nutrition, and Health
Theme 3: Food Politics, Policies, and Cultures
CONFERENCE SUBMISSION DEADLINES
We
welcome the submission of proposals to the conference at any time of
the year before the final Late Proposal Deadline (see below). All
proposals will be reviewed within two to four weeks of submission. The
dates below serve as a guideline for proposal submission based on our
corresponding registration deadlines.
Advanced Proposal Deadlines – 26 December 2016
Early Proposal Deadlines – 26 March 2017
Regular Proposal Deadlines – 26 July 2017
Late Proposal Deadlines – 26 September 2017

Studies: An Interdisciplinary Journal encourages the widest range of
submissions and aims to foster the highest standards of intellectual
excellence. Articles may be submitted by in-person and virtual
participants as well as Community Members.
