Call for submissions- Archival Elements

Archival Elements, the annual newsletter of SAA's Science, Technology and Health Care Section, is soliciting contributions on the resources in your repositories, your exhibits, and the management of scientific, medical, and technical collections. The newsletter's scope is flexible; there have been articles on topics ranging from asbestos studies, to diversity in medicine and science, to rescuing climate data, to nurses in North Carolina.  Previous editions of the newsletter are available at: https://www2.archivists.org/groups/science-technology-and-health-care-section/sthc-newsletters-archival-elements. 
Content Types: 
Brief submissions and announcements (100-350 words) due April 20th
Short articles (500-750 words) due May 10th
Long articles (1000-1500 words) due June 1st
Submission Guidelines:
  1. Pieces should include a title, names of the authors, their positions, their institutional affiliations, and emails. Other contact information is optional but welcome.
  2. Photos and illustrations should be sent as separate attachments using the JPEG format. Send the best quality images possible, and the more images, the better.
  3. Indicate placement of the images in the text. Captions should accompany all figures and tables and should credit original sources. Keep captions at an appropriate length.
