Dear all, I am pleased to announce that registration is now open for the BSHS Postgraduate conference, which will be held in Cambridge from 6-8 January. The conference is aimed at postgraduate students, and is an opportunity for them to present their research to their peers. As well as a full and varied programme of papers, delegates are invited to a wine reception at the Whipple Museum of the History of Science, on a range of excursions to local history of science sites including Charles Darwin's college room, and to attend a special history of science themed Bright Club. (For those of you who haven't come across it before, Bright Club is stand up for academics - and we still have slots to fill, so get in touch if you'd like to perform!) The History of Science and Contemporary Scientific Realism – Call for Papers Flyer 19 th -21 st  February 2016 Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) This is a call for papers for a 3-day conference on the theme of the history of science and contemporary scientific realism. British Society for Literature and Science Conference - April 2016 This year’s meeting of the BSLS will take place at the University of Birmingham from 7-9 th April next year. Keynote talks will be given by Professor Harriet Ritvo (MIT), Professor Sharon Ruston (University of Lancaster), and Professor Alice Roberts (University of Birmingham). We invite abstracts for conference papers and less formal presentations on all aspects of the intersections between literature and science, across all periods. A full CFP is to be found here . The Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (MPIWG) has initiated a publication project in which influential articles in history of science, medicine, and technology published in the last 25 years would be translated into Chinese and issued as an anthology. In turn, historians of science in Asia are selecting ten outstanding articles in Chinese to be translated into English and published by the MPIWG. It is hoped in this way to forge closer links among scholars working in the West and Asia. Both publications will be available in open access on-line, as well as in print form. The MPIWG will obtain the permissions and underwrite the costs of translation and publication.
