University of Oxford Philosophy and Psychiatry Summer

A one-week accredited residential summer school presented
by the Faculty of Philosophy and the Department for Continuing Education, and
based at St Catherine's College, Oxford.
We will explore the areas in which the philosophy of mind
and ethics or the philosophy of value come into contact with issues about
mental health.
The Summer School will appeal to a wide range of people
with a professional or academic interest in the fields of philosophy and/or
mental health.
This intensive programme will be delivered by renowned
experts in the field through keynote lectures and seminars offering
opportunities for substantial dialogue between philosophers, scientists and
mental health practitioners. Sessions will include:

The Summer School will take place at St Catherine's
College, Oxford and includes opportunities to network and socialise with fellow
delegates, faculty members and invited speakers. Residential and
non-residential options are available.
