CfP, Interdisciplinary Workshop on Evolution and Ecology 2019

Interdisciplinary Workshop on Evolution and Ecology 2019: “Bringing Science, History and Philosophy Together”
7 – 8 March 2019, University of Leeds

The workshop brings together postgraduate students and early-career researchers interested in evolutionary biology and ecology from a variety of disciplines, including the biological and mathematical sciences as well as history and philosophy.
We invite submissions for 20-minute presentations: share with us the theoretical, biological, historical or philosophical aspects of your research in ecology and evolution. This is an interdisciplinary workshop and its fundamental goal is to ignite a critical and multi-faceted discussion. So be prepared to show and discuss your work to an audience of non-specialists!
The workshop is designed to dedicate equal time to presentation and discussion: instead of the usual Q&A we will collect the various comments and critiques and explore these at greater length during round-table discussions.
