Memoria y Sociedad

Dear Colleagues,

The Journal Memoria y Sociedad, edited by the Department of History at the Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá-Colombia, has recently published its latest issue devoted to the history of science. The monographic issue, entitled Circulation of Knowledge and Networks of Power: In the Search of New Historiographical Perspectives on Science, reflects the great dynamism of history of science in IberoAmerica, focusing on one of the most burning historiographical issues nowadays: the transformation of knowledge as it travels among different geographical and disciplinary contexts. At the same time, this dossier intends to establish a dialogue between the history of science and the broader fields of social sciences and humanities, integrating science as a subject for analysis in such areas. We hope that this dossier could contribute to the historiographical debate carried out by STEP.

Given that the web page of the journal is currently under construction, the volume can be downloaded from the following address: http://stefanpohlvalero.jimdo.com/publicaciones/

We take the opportunity to send you our best wishes.

Yours sincerely,
