ASSISTANT CURATOR, TECHNOLOGIES AND ENGINEERING
Salary: £18,618-£21,903 pa depending on knowledge & skills
Job Type: Full Time - Permanent
The Assistant Curator will support the Technology and Engineering team's work on exhibitions, collections and research. The role balances object research work, contributing to a range of outputs including galleries, publications, web, presentations and broadcast, with administrative curatorial tasks. Previous collections experience, including handling and assessing objects, documentation and cataloguing would be advantageous but not essential. This is a particularly exciting time to join the team, nearing completion of a major new gallery, 'Information Age'.

ASSOCIATE CURATOR, SCIENCE
Salary: £22,360-£26,300 pa depending on knowledge & skills
Job Type: Full Time - Permanent
The Associate Curator of Science will work with multidisciplinary teams creating a vibrant programme of temporary exhibitions and major redisplays of our permanent collections, and will also develop a research specialism in the material culture of 18th and/or 19th century science. Candidates will have a specialist qualification in History of Science or Science and Technology Studies at undergraduate or post-graduate level, and a keen interest in the material culture of science and the storytelling power of objects.
