Call for Papers - Mind, Value and Mental Health

Early career researchers and current graduate students are invited to submit 300-word abstracts for the 2024 Summer School on the philosophy and psychiatry of mental health and illness. Submissions from individuals with diverse disciplinary backgrounds and those with lived experience are encouraged. Early career researchers, defined as those within five years of receiving a Ph.D. (or equivalent), excluding career breaks for family care, health reasons, or similar, are eligible to apply. https://philosophy.web.ox.ac.uk/event/philosophy-and-psychiatry-summer-school-2024

If accepted, authors will be required to prepare a paper suitable for a 25-minute presentation, followed by a 15-minute discussion during the conference. It is important to adhere to the strict time limits. The application deadline is March 27, 2024. Please submit your 300-word abstract for blind review, along with your CV (including institutional affiliation if applicable), to ppss@philosophy.ox.ac.uk.

Decisions will be final and communicated by April 12, 2024. Selected candidates will have the registration fee waived, granting access to all sessions during the two-day program. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. We look forward to receiving diverse and insightful submissions.
