Emma Day is a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellow in History at UCL Institute of the Americas. Her current research project examines the formation and maintenance of the concept of reproductive health and its role in shaping the politics of the gendered body in the United States.
Sandra Rodriguez is a postgraduate research student at UCL Institute of the Americas. Her PhD advances discussions on the interplay between reproduction, environment and power by investigating the reproduction of life in the toxic geography of Cerro de Pasco - a historic mining site in Peru and a pivotal node of racial capitalism in the Americas.
