I am looking for someone who can join the panel I am organizing on the theme of postwar memory of wartime technology, for SHOT 2013 annual conference. I'd like this panel to be a cross-cultural look at how WWII technology (military or non-military) is remembered in the postwar peacetime, including how colonial technology is remembered in post-independence country. I am a historian of Japan, and I have another Japan historian on this panel. Now we are looking for non-Japan specialists, preferably Germany but very open to any other country.
