Call for Nominations for International Scholars, Society for the History of Technology (SHOT), 2014 http://www.historyoftechnology.org/about_us/international_programs.html Each year the Society for the History of Technology designates up to four International Scholars for a two-year term. One of the goals of the International Scholars program is to foster an international network of scholars in the history of technology that will benefit all members of the Society. We particularly welcome applications from or nominations of scholars from Africa, Asia and Latin America. Graduate students, post-docs, and visiting scholars who are living and working in North America are not eligible to become International Scholars; however, they are eligible to apply once they return to their home countries. Premio a la Difusión de la Ciencia

La COSCE (Confederación de Sociedades Científicas de España), convoca anualmente el PREMIO A LA DIFUSIÓN DE LA CIENCIA . Se trata de una iniciativa cuyo objetivo es recompensar las acciones personales de divulgación científica que realizan los investigadores. Los candidatos al galardón deberán ser presentados por una (o más de una) de las Sociedades miembros de COSCE sin que sea condición para optar al Premio que el candidato pertenezca a alguna de las sociedades que integran la Confederación. Será necesario que la candidatura acredite una labor continuada y efectiva de difusión de la ciencia en formato digital: publicaciones, libros, artículos, programas audiovisuales, de radiodifusión, proyectos escénicos, etc. El período de presentación de candidaturas para el PREMIO DE 2014 finalizará el 14 de abril de 2014.
